It is a great idea to enter a competition in an area that you enjoy or are good at whilst at school. If you win or are placed this is excellent, but even if you don’t it demonstrates commitment, interest, drive and immediately differentiates you from others. It also looks good on your UCAS form.
Bar Council Law Reform Essay. Sponsored by the Bar Council Scholarship Trust, this competition is open to students and pupils and requires entrants to write a piece of less than 3000 words proposing the case for a law reform which is desirable, practical and useful.
Off About the competition. The Sheffield Philosophy Essay Prize is an annual competition for Years 10, 11 and 12. The aims of this prize are threefold: firstly, to widen interest in philosophy and in studying philosophy at university level among students who would not otherwise be exposed to the subject; secondly, to encourage ambitious and talented secondary school students considering.
Eligibility for the 2019 Carnegie International Student Essay Competition. The Carnage Council considers students from all over the world are eligible for the International Essay Competition. Furthermore, students from high school students through graduate students are eligible. However, non-students submission are ineligible for the competition.
